On the Toilet

This morning I woke to a sunrise calling
It was a familiar feeling
I had to go to the toilet
So I got out of bed

Cause I don’t go in bed
I don’t go in nappies
I don’t go in undies
I don’t go in my pants
I only go to the toilet on the toilet

Today I was playing my favourite game
When I got that familiar feeling
I had to go to the toilet
So I got up and went

Cause I don’t go in bed
I don’t go in nappies
I don’t go in undies
I don’t go in my pants
I only go to the toilet on the toilet
I only go to the toilet on the toilet

Today I was running outside and playing
When I got that familiar feeling
I had to go to the toilet
So I stopped playing and went

I don’t go in bed
I don’t go in nappies
I don’t go in undies
I don’t go in my pants
I only go to the toilet on the toilet
I only go to the toilet on the toilet

This evening I was eating my favourite dinner
When I got that familiar feeling
I had to go to the toilet
So I stood up and went

Cause I don’t go in bed
I don’t go in nappies
I don’t go in undies
I don’t go in my pants
I only go to the toilet on the toilet
I only go to the toilet on the toilet
I only go to the toilet on the toilet

Getting Dressed

I pick out a jacket, I pick out some pants
I collect some socks, and some shoes to dance
I pick out a t-shirt, I pick out a skirt
I collect some tights, and some shoes to dance

Left leg goes in the left leg goes in the
Right leg goes in the right leg goes in the
Left arm goes in the left arm goes in the
Right arm goes in the right arm goes in the

I can put my top on, put my arms in first
Pull it down around me, over my head
I can put my pants on, one leg at a time
Pull them up around me, pull them up high

Left leg goes in the left leg goes in the
Right leg goes in the right leg goes in the
Left arm goes in the left arm goes in the
Right arm goes in the right arm goes in the

I can take my clothes off, get ready for bed
Take my top off first, up and over my head
Before I have a bath, I take my pants off too
Push them to my ankles, and balance on one leg

Left leg goes in the left leg goes in the
Right leg goes in the right leg goes in the
Left arm goes in the left arm goes in the
Right arm goes in the right arm goes in the

You'll Have to be Patient

I wanna go down the slide get to the bottom first
I want to go on the swing but someone’s sitting on it
There’s a digger in the middle of the sand pit
I really, really, really, really want to dig it

You’ll have to wait your turn
You’ll have to be patient
When we’re in company
When we’re in conversation

I want a glass of milk but I need you to pour it
I want butter on bread but I’ll need you to spread it
I want to have my lunch cause I am really hungry
I’m really, really, really, really hungry

You’ll have to wait your turn
You’ll have to be patient
When we’re in company
When we’re in conversation

Take some deep breaths it won’t be long
To get what you need, to get what you want

You’ll have to wait your turn
You’ll have to be patient
When we’re in company
When we’re in conversation

On the way to the shops I wanna say something
On the way to school I wanna say something
And on the way back home I wanna say something
I really, really, really, really want to say something

You’ll have to wait your turn
You’ll have to be patient
When we’re in company
When we’re in conversation

Take some deep breaths it won’t be long
To get what you need, to get what you want

You’ll have to wait your turn
You’ll have to be patient
When we’re in company
When we’re in conversation

Baby in Mum's Tummy

There’s a baby in mum’s tummy and it kicks around a lot
It’s making my mum tired and sometimes a little cross
The baby in mum’s tummy is growing bigger every day
And one day when it gets here apparently it’s going to stay

The baby in mum’s tummy is where I used to be
Dad said when it gets here it’ll share my room with me
The baby in mum’s tummy cannot walk or talk or crawl
So we’ll make it some wings so it can fly into my arms

This is my family, soon we’ll be 4 not 3
Mum says she still loves me
Cause I’m the one who she learnt from
I am the first that made her burst with love

The baby in mum’s tummy could be a little boy
He could wear my old clothes and I will let him share my toys
The baby in mum’s tummy could be a little girl
Well I’ll read her my old books and she might even share my curls

The baby in mum’s tummy well it came out yesterday
It’ll have to grow more before it’s big enough to play
But I can hardly wait to teach it everything I know
And I will hold its little hand and I’ll never let it go

This is my family, soon we’ll be 4 not 3
Dad says he still loves me
Cause I’m the one that he learnt from

This is my family, soon we’ll be 4 not 3
Mum says she still loves me
Cause I’m the one who she learnt from
I am the first that made her burst, with love

Magic Words

So many words, of which I could choose from
Some are magic, and therefore are useful
The problem is it can be hard sometimes to remember to use them
Just a few words, can make all the difference

Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!
Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!

Mum says it’s nice, to use my good manners
When I behave right, she says that it’s beautiful
The problem is it can be hard sometimes to remember to do it
When I am polite, it makes all the difference

Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!
Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!

How should I ask? How should I approach this?
There’s something I want, think I know how to get it
The trouble is it can be hard sometimes to remember what it is
The magic words, are really so simple

Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!
Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!
Please, Thank You, Excuse Me, Please!

Put Them Away

There’s a place for dad’s shoes
There’s a place for mum’s keys
There’s a place for my toys
There’s a place for everything
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away

There’s a place for the mail
There’s a place for my crayons
There’s a place for our hats
There’s a place for our jackets
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away

The cleaning fairies won’t be happy
If we don’t put things back
The cleaning fairies might walk off the job
If we don’t help them out

There’s a place for mum’s phone
There’s a place for the remote
There’s a place for my books
There’s a place for dirty clothes
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away

There’s a place for the soap
There’s a place for the shampoo
There’s a place for the towels
There’s a place for the toothpaste
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away
Put them away, put them away
I can help you put them away

The cleaning fairies won’t be happy
If we don’t put things back (we’re quitting)
The cleaning fairies might walk off the job
You gotta help them out

So we’ll close cupboard doors
We’ll put things in drawers
We’ll tidy the floors
You can be sure
Put them away, put them away
We can help you put them away
Put them away, put them away
We can help you put them away
Put them away, put them away
We can help you put them away

Bath Tonight

All that I want is a weightlessness
All that I need is some quiet time
I wanna be deep inside the bath tonight

When I step in the waters calm
When I sink down the waters warm
I wanna be deep inside the bath tonight

Sink on down into space
Astronauts must feel this way

I swim around and dip and dive
I’m like a fish swimming with the tide
I wanna be floating in my bath tonight

I kick my legs and splash about
I see the drop-lets dripping down
I wanna be floating in my bath tonight

Bubbles float in the air
Orbiting my wet hair
Sink on down into space
Astronauts must feel this way

Planets align and then it’s time
For me to get out and turn off the lights
Cause I’m gonna be floating in my bed tonight

I take a towel and dry myself
I take my space suit off the shelf
Cause I’m gonna be floating in my bed tonight

Space shuttles, shooting stars
Asteroids, satellites
Sink on down into space
Astronauts must feel this way

My Bed

My dad’s bed is a big wide ocean
I dive in and I feel it open
Hi Ho shiver me timbers
Hold on tight the waters rough in
My dad’s bed is a big wide ocean
Waves roll in and I dive under them
Hi Ho shiver me timbers
Swim to the rocks, they look like pillows

I could be anywhere in here
I could be anything in here

My mum’s bed is a damp rainforest
Careful on the slippery moss
Hi Ho hike up the mountain
Arrive at the top, take the view in
My mum’s bed is a damp rainforest
The canopy’s high and the rain drips in
Hi Ho hike down the mountain
Arrive at the bottom and take a breath in

I could be anywhere in here
I could be anything in here

My brother’s bed is a big brown desert
The sky is big and the sun is red hot
Hi Ho searching for shade
The trees are sparse out on the planes
My brother’s bed is a big brown desert
We go underground to find a cool place
Hi Ho searching for shade
We’re on the hunt for a cool lemonade

I could be anywhere in here
I could be anything in here

My bed is a slumber party
I roll in pull the covers on me
Hi Ho yawning again
I love how it feels when I’m inside here
My bed is a slumber party
When I’m here I feel like sleeping
Hi Ho yawning again
Close my eyes with dreams in my head

I could be anywhere in here
I could be anything in here

Not Afraid of the Dark

Sun falls low, children go home all over town
Reach the end of another day, and night falls down
And we are sleeping sound

The lights go out, I find my dreams
Where I’m a possum in the night time breeze
In the shadows, behind thing’s
Like a noisy wombat grunts and sings
Across the night like a shooting star
I’m a sugar glider cruising fast
I’m a brave koala up the tallest tree
I’m not afraid of the dark

When it’s quiet you can hear, all sorts of noise
The conversations of the house, and of your toys
For you to enjoy

The lights go out, I find my dreams
Where I’m a possum in the night time breeze
In the shadows, behind thing’s
Like a noisy wombat grunts and sings
Across the night like a shooting star
I’m a sugar glider cruising fast
I’m a brave koala up the tallest tree
I’m not afraid of the dark

Without the lights your eyes can close, and then you’ll see
All the magic in the dark, and all your dreams
Are made of this

The lights go out, I find my dreams
Where I’m a possum in the night time breeze
In the shadows, behind thing’s
Like a noisy wombat grunts and sings
Across the night like a shooting star
I’m a sugar glider cruising fast
I’m a brave koala up the tallest tree
I’m not afraid of the dark
I’m telling you this, I’m not afraid of the dark
No I’m not afraid of the dark
I’m not afraid of the dark
